What is the plant

This classic palm lends an upscale, tropical appearance to the landscape with its elegant crown of fronds. The trunk has a striking diamond pattern that is created by the scars from leaves. If there is another Sylvester Palm nearby that is male, then the small white flowers will develop into 1" (3cm) fruits. This species is more resistant to disease than other Date Palms.A stunning specimen in open areas or planted in a row along property lines, walls or drives.
