The Yuzu Ichandrin Hardy Citrus Tree is prized in Japan for flavoring, juice and preserves. This hardy variety bears abundant, easy-to-peel, 3 inch diameter fruit with tasty, lemon-lime flavor. Yuzu Ichandrin is reportedly hardy to 0°F and we’ve had good success growing them outdoors here in Portland, Oregon. Yuzu is an evergreen shrub or small tree growing 2 - 7 metres tall. The edible fruit is relatively rare, and highly prized in the Orient, where the plant has been known and cultivated in China for 2,000 years or more. It is also grown in other areas, particularly Japan and Korea
