Alstroemeria are fleshy rooted herbaceous perennials forming spreading clumps of erect stems bearing narrowly lance-shaped leaves, with umbels of showy funnel-shaped flowers in summer.Princess Paola is a compact, clump-forming perennial, to 35cm tall, with lance-shaped, green leaves. The funnel-shaped flowers, borne from summer into autumn, comprise white outer petals marked with a pink central bar and pink-tipped, streaked inner petals that form a yellow centre

How to Care for the Plant

Water
Keep soil slightly moist while growing, do not allow plants to get too dry or too wet whilst dormant.
Pruning
‘Pluck’ flower stems out of the ground to pick. Tidy up old foliage & cut back in winter to 50mm from the base.

Top dress during warmer months. Liquid feed fortnightly once flower buds appear.
