Commonly known as Hydrangea Phantom, this perennial Hydrangea species is native to Eastern China, Korea, and Japan. Unlike other Hydrangea species, Panicle Hydrangea 'Phantom' grows up to 6-10 feet (2-3 m) in height and can be pruned to a single trunk tree. The shrub produces catchy pink at the base and lighter towards the tips blooms, organized in dense conical-shaped clusters. The flowers usually have 4 petals. The foliage has an elongated shape and smooth texture. It's edges are serrated. This Hydrangea species is a good choice to add an accent to a garden or grow it as a fence.
