What is the plant

Erigeron canadensis is a herbaceous annual weed plant that can be spotted throughout America, Eurasia, and Australia. Despite its notorious growing habit, this plant has medicinal value.

Commonly known as Horseweed, Canadian Horseweed, Canadian Fleabane, Coltstail, and Marestail, Erigeron canadensis is an annual weed plant. Native to North and Central America, this herbaceous plant is spread across most countries of the world. Canadian Fleabane can reach a height of 5 ft (1.5 m) and has hairy stems. Its thin foliage is unstalked and has serrated edges. It typically reaches 1-4 in (2-10 cm) long and grows 0.5 in (1 cm) wide. The leaves grow in a spiral pattern, and the lower ones often wilt. The plant produces dense clusters with little flowers that visually remind of a Camomile.
