Philodendron 'Moonlight'

Philodendron is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. There are 489 species accepted in the genus. Many are grown as ornamental and indoor plants. The name derives from the Greek words philo- or "love, affection" and dendron or "tree". They are commonly called by their generic name. Philodendrons are known to have been collected from the wild as early as 1644 by Georg Marcgraf, but the first partly successful scientific attempt to collect and classify the genus was done by Charles Plumier.
