Hoya linearis grows as an epiphyte (on trees) in the Himalayan region in Northern India and in the nearby vicinity. The leaves of the plant are skinny, soft, and slightly hairy. They give white, star-shaped flowers with a lemon scent to them.

Hoya linearis is a tender, pendent, epiphytic, succulent, evergreen perennial with slender, soft, green stems bearing linear, hairy, grooved leaves and lax clusters of fragrant, star-shaped, white flowers from late summer into autumn. Like all Hoya’s, Hoya linearis is ‘pet friendly’ which means it is non-toxic to animals (and humans) when ingested.
