What is the plant

Pelargonium grandiflorum is an erect straggling herbaceous shrub, usually growing to a height of 0.75 m. The glaucous stem is soft smooth and shiny. Bella Donna is a variety grown by a Dutch plant breeder.

Pelargonium is a genus of flowering plants which includes about 200 species of perennials, succulents, and shrubs, commonly known as geraniums, pelargoniums, or storksbills. Confusingly, Geranium is the botanical name and common name of a separate genus of related plants. Both genera belong to the family Geraniaceae.

It's best to water Regal pelargonium twice per week, straight onto the soil, not on the plant itself. Check the soil frequently for dryness, particularly under the surface. Too much water will cause root rot, so do not leave the plant standing in water.
