Cyperus is an ancient member of the Papyrus family, native to Madagascar swamps. It is a grass-like plant that is very tolerant to overwatering due to its background.
This plant is commonly known as an umbrella plant because of how its leaves are arranged. Located on spiky upright stems, these umbrellas bring a boggy vibe to the apartment, and as of recent, cyperus has become a popular sight in offices, too.
