Lots of Fun Bees Out!
Native garden has been a bit more active with the warmth and sun lately, and I’m finding my bee friends on the lanceleaf coreopsis and yarrow! Pictured here is some species of Megachilid bee (pollen on the underside of abdomen, maybe a resin bee), a Lasioglossum sweat bee (dark green to black) and a metallic green sweat bee (Augochlora sp.). I’ve also seen a few bumblebees lately. Super excited to see what summer brings! #nativeplants #nativegardening #bees #pollinators #wildlifegardening

More Growth After Rain!
Native bed showing more signs of life. Wanted to show closer pics of the yarrow and rose verbena, which is starting to pop off with it’s first round of fragrant flowers for the year! Yarrow is way fluffier than I imagined, and I love it. #nativegardening #wildlifegardening #nativeplants
