gnats
I have recently gotten gnats on my red leaf philodendron and on my rattlesnake plant. How can I get rid of them?

Isolate the plant. I put mine outside so it doesn’t spread inside. I remove top inch of soil and spray with pyrethrum. You can buy gnat gravel to stop them getting back into the soil. Takes a few weeks to break the cycle of egg laying and hatching. Keep spraying every few days. Only water from the bottom as they love wet soil.
