Does anyone know if mums can be planted in the ground?

I have two big huge mums that are are in pots outside but they are getting so big I didnt know if I should just go ahead and out them in the ground or bigger pots, please help lol!?!

Check your planting zone if youre in the U.S. They are hardy in zones 5-9 so I think you can plant them outside most places here

Yes, just like the other said- check the zone you live in for mums- plant them in bone meal and cut them back and theyll come back bigger every year. And if you deadhead the blooms (cut the dead ones off) theyll grow some more for you in the same year. :)

My favorite product I live by is Biotone- its organic. If you dont want to specifically buy bonemeal for mums you can get a root starter, they have one. I follow the directions on the bag and use it to start anything I plant in the ground and I love it. Helps the roots take hold and develop and the plant stay healthy and flourish.
