It is an intergeneric hybrid of Pachyphtyum x Echeveria. Pachyveria clavata is a beautiful succulent plant with red flowers tinged with silver.
Generally speaking, count on watering once every week to ten days; however, small variables such as pot size and plant size may influence this schedule. It's best to simply check your soil every few days and water when it is nearly completely dry.
Use a slow-release fertilizer at the beginning of spring, or a liquid fertilizer diluted 2-4 times more than normal and used less often than recommended. Use a low nitrogen mix or a cactus fertilizer. Remember that it is a lot easier to over-fertilize succulents than to under-fertilize.
Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Temperatures below 20 °F (-6 °C) will kill the plant, and temperatures which may go below 45 °F (7 °C) during extended period should be avoided. Pachyphytum tolerates high heat and intense sunlight.
Terracotta clay pots and other pottery containers are among the best for Echeveria. The 'tooth' or unglazed interior gives the roots something to cling to, and the porous wall of the pot allows excess moisture to escape, leaving the soil dry as these xerophytes prefer.
