Soil
Grow Allium moly 'Jeannine' in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. It's well suited to growing in a mixed herbaceous border and also beneath trees and shrubs.
Temperature
A starting temperature between 68 and 73 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal. The winter provides the chill the bulbs need, which ideally is between 28 and 35 degrees. When temperatures start warming up to between 55 and 65 degrees in spring, the bulb will grow and produce flowers that last about three weeks.

Allium 'Jeannine' can be toxic. Allium moly is a plant that most people do not recognize as being an onion or garlic. It is short with fairly wide leaves unlike most onions. It also has very vibrant yellow flowers.
