What is the plant

The unique Hindu Hoya Rope plant, Hoya carnosa compacta, is a draping succulent that produce clusters of star-shaped, waxy flowers. The thick, twisted, curly, cupped leaves of a Hindu Rope plant are why it's often called Krinkle Kurl. A northern exposure really doesn't provide enough light for high light plants.
