Dracaena Janet Lind is slightly variegated with dark green leaves and a few lighter green stripes running down their length. A tall growing, upright species, Janet Lind looks great as an elegant floor specimen and is a perfect foliage plant to sit next to something tropical with deeper variegation or colour such as Aglaonema, Calathea or Codiaeum Petra. As with all Dracaena, Janet Lind is known for its ability to purify the surrounding air. Perfect for urban environments.
Water when the soil starts to dry out at the top, water well and allow to drain thoroughly. Dracaena are relatively drought tolerant. Do not over water as this will cause the leaf tips to blacken
A Dracaena is a relatively slow grower and is best pruning in the fall. The advantage of this is that the plant receives more light and remains more compact. The Dracaena will branch "at every branch where it has been pruned". This gives you a nice full room or office plant. Use a secateurs for this.
Temperature: It prefers ideal room temperature between 65 – 75°F / 18-24°C. Under 55°F/12°C is going to harm the plant which may become noticeable if the leaves begin curling. Try and avoid the plant being near cold drafts, which will also cause harm.
