What is the plant

This one is kind of a big deal…This is the gold form of the climbing Philodendron bipennifolium positively glows! The leaves seem to get less than 20″ or so and the normal green form is found in Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana and Brazil, and Peru. The leaf shape does vary quite a bit, with juvenile leaves looking much different from mature leaves. This is quite a find and I used to have a white variegated splashed form that was beautiful, but lost it years ago. The plants we have available at this time have leaves about 4-5″ long

Philodendron grow very well in patio and indoor containers. Allow enough room for growth generally a 10″ to a 20″ diameter, 10″ deep container will suffice to get started. Remember the looser the roots, the taller and healthier your plant will be. When the plant becomes root bound its growth will slow, at that point it is time for a larger pot.
