Peperomia angulata is a hanging plant with protected plant variety rights. This plant has very beautiful dark green leaves with attractive dark green stripes. The Peperomia angulata Rocca Verde is the same plant, but this one has a lighter colour. Peperomia varieties like shade and need a little water every week to stay nice and green.This plant is originally from Peru.Peperomia angulata rocca scuro has creeping stems of dark green leaves striped in lighter green. The red stems add further interest and the plant looks fantastic left to creep along a shelf or trail from a hanging planter. It has a compact, spreading nature and is particularly suited to growing in low or fluorescent light, making it perfect for offices and shady spots. Radiator Plants are very much on trend and are very easy to look after.
Water when the soil has almost dried out, Radiator Plants don’t like to be over-watered. Use soft water if possible and water from below. Water is stored in the leaves making these plants drought resistant.
Peperomia angulata are fine in moderate light conditions and will tolerate shade. Avoid direct sunlight. They do really well under fluorescent lights, making them ideal for the office or basement flat.
Average to warm temperatures from 18-24°C but can cope with as low as 10°C at a push. Avoid draughts.
