A terrific low evergreen groundcover for sunny areas with poor dry soil. This forms a trailing mat of succulent golden-yellow leaves. Clusters of yellow starry flowers appear during the summer. When planted in containers or on a wall this develops a beautiful cascading habit. Plants may be pruned back at any time if they get too large. Foliage sometimes develops beautiful amber tones in the autumn and winter. Does well in large rock gardens where the plants can be given room to spread. Best with occasional to no foot traffic. Drought tolerant. Registered with COPF: royalty required for propagation.
Reflexed Stonecrop 'Angelina' Care
Sedum Rupestre 'Angelina'

How to Care for the Plant

Water

Sedum reflexum or blue spruce stonecrop has common watering requirements when it comes to succulents. It’s best to use a “ soak and dry ” method, and also leave a soil to dry entirely in between waterings.

Pruning

Dead or dying sections of the plant can encourage pest infestation or disease. Removing these not only makes your houseplant look better, but reduces the risk of further problems down the line.

Fertilizer

Simply apply the fertilizer around the base of the plant, extending to the drip line. For vegetables, place the fertilizer in a strip parallel to the planting row. Water-soluble fertilizers are faster acting but must be applied more frequently. This method gives plants food while you water.

Sunlight

They prefer a filtered morning sun and afternoon shade.

Soil

Well-drained.

Temperature

The plant is winter hardy in USDA hardiness zones 3 through 9.

Container

Use a ceramic porous pot with a good drainage.
