Truncate Living Stone (Lithops pseudotruncatella) is a succulent from South Africa, which is almost impossible to visually identify as a plant until you touch it with your hands. The original form consists of two petals in brown, gray, and pink and the upper flat part of the leaf has a branched linear or wreathed pattern. When flowering, a yellow flower is formed without fragrance.

How to Care for the Plant
Water
Watering only moderately because of the risk of root system rotting. During the dormant period from January to early May, it is better to leave the succulents without watering.
Pruning
The living stones do not need pruning. The plant will take care of itself.
Fertilizer
In the first year, you do not need to apply fertilizers, as there are enough nutrients in the new substrate. In the following years, from June to the beginning of autumn days, it is necessary to feed lithops once a month with half of the dose of fertilizers for cacti.
Sunlight
The plant may die in low light. The succulent needs direct sunlight for 4 hours or artificial lighting for 12 hours. Keep it on the sunny side with windows facing south, west, or east.
Soil
Take two parts of clay soil, one part of coarse sand, and one part of pumice to obtain a nutritious soil mixture. Drainage is necessary.
Propagation
You can grow the Truncate Living Stone easily from seed from fall until March.
Temperature
The suitable temperature range is 65 to 80 °F (18-27 °C). Ideally, do not allow L. pseudotruncatella to stay below 50 °F (10 °C) and never leave it outside below 40 °F (4.4 °C).
Container
Deep pots are the only ones suitable for the Truncate Living Stone plants because of their root system.
