Tecoma 'Orange Jubilee' Care
Tecoma x alata 'Orange Jubilee'

The Tecoma stans shrub began growing ornamentally back in the mid-1800s, and its well-known cultivar, Tecoma alata, has spread throughout Southern California and further. You may come across this shrub with different names like Flaming Bells, Orange Star, Orange Trumpet Bush, and Tecoma Orange Jubilee. It grows up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) tall and 10 feet (3 meters) wide. Because Tecoma is a member of the Trumpet family (Trumpet Creeper), its flowers have trumpet-shaped flowers.

How to Care for the Plant
Container
Orange Jubilee can be grown in a pot if the plant is young or you need to move it to a warmer location for the winter. We suggest choosing a well-drained pot 2 times the size of the root ball. A clay pot is best as it drains excess water.
Fun fact
The flowers on the shrub look like elongated bells, which is why the plant is often called Orange Bells.
