What is the plant

Pachyphytum 'Moonsilver' is a succulent with chubby powder blue leaves. It is perfect for wedding favors, miniature gardens and fairy gardens. The plant is great for terrarium. It is a slow grower, can stay smaller if root-bound.

Pachyphytum is a small genus of succulents in the family Crassulaceae, native to Mexico, at elevations from 600 to 1,500 metres. The name comes from the ancient Greek pachys and phyton because of the shape of the leaves. Pachyphytum leaves are plump and fleshy, and range in color from green to lovely orange and even purple. The leaves form a loose rosette. They may be grape-shaped or tubular, and may have a powdery coating called farina.
