A new leaf!
They take forever to unfurl

Plants definitely react to the type of music
But this is too funny 😂

The cat strikes again!
I don’t know for sure which one it was but I think it was this sweet looking little Puma girl. She doesn’t eat them, just tears off the tips of the leaves. I’m going to try cat grass, just worried that she will say “thanks mom” and decide that it’s ok with me for her to chew on the leaves! 🪴🐈

New baby!
Another one from my wishlist. And it has two new leaves coming out!

All of my flowers are exploding this year
We’ve had a dry spring here and I think that helped.

Loaded with blossoms this year!
Lilac “Glory” 2nd photo and lilac “Sensation” 3rd photo. Not very many leaves right now but they’re putting on a show with all of the blossoms.

Don’t throw away your Amaryllis bulbs!
I let the flowers fade naturally and let the leaves die off. But I continued watering per the schedule and now I have a new leaf starting! I don’t know if it’s going to flower again before Christmas but let’s hope 🤞🏼

Meet My little lady
This plant will be a year old in June. The flowers were pink when I got it but they turned green. There is no sign that they are dying off but the plant keeps producing more leaves.

Not a plant but we can all relate!

First blooms this season!
Feeding your plants works wonders. Three blossoms at once after the first fertilizer this year.

They’re growing!
Last April I transplanted five plants from my son’s property. They died in the summer heat and I thought they were gone for good. But now they’re growing back! I’m so excited that they survived!

New baby!
The app identifies it as a ghost plant but the label said it’s a pachyphytum, “Margrit” which isn’t listed in the app. I’m patiently awaiting the flowers. 🌺

Not a real plant but totally cool

New babies!
Deers foot fern, false aralia and coffee tree

This plant is about eleven years old
It’s a type of corn plant. Very slow growing, bloomed once. Small white flowers grouped together in an inch wide spiral on a stalk. Very unusual and pretty.

I love seeing so much new growth in the winter
Monstera Thai Constellation, Peace Lily and Silver Sword Philodendron

Winter blooms
We’ve had a mild winter so far here so my plants are confused and blooming early. It’s supposed to freeze next week so I hope I don’t lose them.

As this years amaryllis fades…
I ran across this picture of one from a few years ago.

1
I have a pothos and a philodendron Brasil in this pot
It accidentally got overwatered and the pothos lost so many leaves that it was looking very bare. I did some drastic pruning today. Second picture is how it looked before losing the leaves.

New babies!
Two new plants to cross off my wishlist. And the Monstera has a new leaf coming out! Of course they’re both too big to fit in my new storage unit and I have no idea where I’m going to put them. The Monstera is a Walmart find for $30, the money tree was $15 at Lowe’s. Both plants are between 12 and 14 inches tall.

I needed more space for plants and books
I don’t have a lot of room so it’s just a small storage unit. Jade plant, silver sword philodendron, ripple jade, creeping fig and African violet. I may have to prune some of the hanging plant. Now I have room for some smaller plants around what I already have and after Christmas decorations come down I’ll have another cube open. Always excited to get more plants!

2
Can’t wait for these buds to open!
