Im confused about the watering in this thing
I just got a new air plant that I’m actually going to take care of, (I don’t take care of plants that much) I thought a good small one would be enough but on google and other plant apps it says to soak it in water for a good 30 minutes. Then take it out and make sure it dries well. But the person I bought it from said to spray it every 3 days a week, but now it looks sad. Any tips?

I have a bunch of these I put them in my fish tank root up(try to keep the bottom dry) for 3 hours then taken them out shake them off lightly and set them on paper towel. Let them dry more. Then put them in a west facing window where they get a light breeze
@user12002734 thank you, I’ll do that tomorrow which is their next watering day!
I heard soaking is the best method especially if you aren’t one to remember to spray your plant.
It depends on your environment. In hot dry environments you might need to soak it every 3 days, in cool humid ones every 2 weeks. Give it sometime to adjust and try soaking once a week, then adjust from there.
Probably better to soak it in water during few hours once a week.
