what is happening to my ice plant??
I posted yesterday about my plant blooming but somehow today when I checked out on it, the petals were closed? Is this the flower going into spring mode?🤔

The plant in the image appears to be a Malephora crocea, which is a species of shrub that is commonly found in the desert regions of the Southwest United States. The plant appears to be struggling and is not in good health. Some possible reasons for this could be due to a lack of water, improper soil conditions, or a lack of sunlight. To fix this issue, the plant should be watered regularly and the soil should be amended to ensure proper drainage and nutrient retention. Additionally, the plant should be placed in a location that receives full sunlight. It may also be helpful to provide the plant with a balanced fertilizer to help it recover and thrive.
In my experiences, flowers open in the heat of the day, around midday, and close again as the light darkens.
