Not sure what the red spots are on my fiddle leaf fig plant. Is this due to overwatering or under watering? Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

It appears that the plant is not in good condition. The leaves are discolored and have spots on them. This could be due to a variety of factors, such as overwatering, underwatering, or disease. To fix this issue, the first step would be to identify the cause of the problem. This can be done by looking at the plant's soil, watering habits, and general health. If the problem is due to overwatering, the soil should be well-drained and not waterlogged. If the problem is due to underwatering, the soil should be moist but not waterlogged. If the problem is due to disease, it may require treatment with a plant fungicide. Once the cause of the problem has been identified, it can be fixed by adjusting the plant's watering habits and providing it with the right amount of water. If the plant is diseased, it may need to be treated with a plant fungicide. It is important to keep in mind that different plants have different water requirements, so it's important to research the specific needs of your plant and adjust your watering accordingly. A general rule of thumb is to water your plant when the soil feels dry to the touch, but be sure to not overwater. It's also important to keep in mind that plants need different types and amounts of light to thrive, so
This is called edema. It is commom in FLFs and is caused by inconsistent watering. Usually it happens to the newest leaves. Once the harden a bit, it will go away. To prevent this, make sure it is in a bright spot. When you water, wait until the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, then water until it runs out the bottom, then stop. Depending on the humidity and the nature of your pot, it could be every 7- 10 days.
So is the red spots lumpy? Could you wipe them off if you wanted to? Or is it a colour change in the leaf?
