The image shows a potted plant that appears to be in poor health. The leaves are drooping and the soil appears to be dry and devoid of moisture. The first step in fixing this issue would be to make sure the plant is receiving enough water. This can be done by watering the plant regularly and making sure the soil is moist but not waterlogged. Another issue that could be affecting the plant's health is a lack of fertilization. Fertilizing the plant with a balanced fertilizer can help to provide it with the necessary nutrients it needs to thrive. Lastly, it is possible that the plant is not getting enough sunlight. Move the plant to a location that gets plenty of sunlight and make sure it is getting enough light to photosynthesize. It is also recommended to prune the plant to remove any dead or damaged leaves and branches to promote healthy growth. In summary, the plant is likely suffering from a lack of water, fertilizer and sunlight. By addressing these issues, the plant should start to look healthier and thrive.
Hydrogen peroxide: Pour a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle and apply it to the affected area. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then wipe the mold away. Also add to the soil to kill larvae.

Place a thin layer of Diatomaceous Earth ('D.E.') over the soil to prevent any adult females from laying their eggs. It's essential to block every inch of soil on every plant, as the bugs will scavenge for hours to check out new ways of accessing the compost below.
Get some citronella candles to repell the adults and make the area completely uninhabitable for them. Good luck!
Dr. Bronners castille soap (diluted in a spray bottle) works wonders to kill knats in pots!
Stop over watering is the number one thing you need to do here. Let the top two inches dry out. These knats breed in moist soil. If it drys out they cant breed and will die off. You can still water the plant just do it from the bottom. Set in small mount of water and it will soak some up and water from the roots
