does anyone know how to treat a ficus audrey?
The majority of the leaves randomly turned yellow - the person who I bought from said that it was from overwatering but I hadn’t watered my plant in over a week - the leaves are turning yellow and come off with the slightest touch - the roots st the bottom are white and dry, not black and wet

The plant provided appears to be a Ficus pumila, which is a common houseplant known for its ability to thrive in a variety of lighting conditions. However, the plant appears to be struggling, with a few brown leaves and bare branches. The most likely issue is a lack of water and/or overwatering, which can cause leaves to become dry and brittle, and branches to drop off. To fix this issue, the plant needs to be watered thoroughly, allowing the water to drain through the soil. It is recommended to water the plant once a week, or when the soil feels dry to the touch. Additionally, the plant may need to be repotted in a larger container with a well-draining soil mix to prevent waterlogged soil. Proper pruning can also help maintain the plant's health, removing any dead or damaged leaves and branches to promote new growth. Finally, it is important to provide the plant with bright, indirect light and maintain a warm temperature between 65-75°F. Providing these conditions will help the plant to thrive and maintain its health.
Ficus trees are like drama queens. They need a lot of light and they are easy to stress. When they get stressed, they can drop leaves like crazy. Some things that can stress them are changes in environment, like if you move it to another place. And they don’t tolerate a lot of wind.
