do i need to remove this twist tie??
Love this money tree I recently purchased - man do these things grow quickly!! Anyone know anything about them, as far as whether to transplant or not/do I need to continue to leave it tied with the twist tie…etc.???

I think you can take it off
Don’t ever use twist ties they will damage your plant if you need to tie it use a soft rope or piece of Velcro
Mine grew very tall while I was away, if you want to keep it from being tall and keep it with a large canopy you have to trim back the branches a bit. From the photo she seems to be fine for now but I agree with the other post that I would refrain from using those bread ties. As she grows you can position her how you want it to grow Also they do like the sun and to be spritzed once in a while
It also looks like she was chopped back a bit so I’d let her sprawl out a bit before trimming
