ia this mold
I went to check on the plant in my room and I had this white stuff in soil. I did a quick search and it said it could be mold or like salt buildup and I’m not an expert but if it’s mold, I don’t wanna have it in my room. So please lmk

Yeah look like mold.
Thats not mold, it’s salt buildup from tap water or fertilizer, comes from watering the plant from above. Easy to distinguish because this stuff is crusty, mold would be more fluffy/cottoney. Easy fix would be to remove 1-2cm from the top layer and replace it with fresh soil. Alternative while next watering flush it through with distilled water to get the excess of salt out of the soil.
That’s salt build up… you can remove the soil repot with new soil, and use distilled water… good luck!
