Dracaena Marginata (Dragon Tree)
I picked up this baby a couple years ago at a local store. I managed to keep it alive that entire time without ever educating myself on its needs until a few months ago. Most of its life it spent untrimmed and in a dark area of my living room. This tough little guy survived my ignorance! So I would say it makes this plant an easy beginner plant. I learned a few months ago that it needed to be trimmed from the bottom up which I started doing and it started to grow faster. As I wanted it to split off and have two stems off the main one I decided I’d try cutting its top and placed it in water and I continue to water the main stem. I did this a few weeks ago now and I’m not seeing any changes. I’ll admit I’m a bit nervous.
