Browning on white part of variegated monstera
My variegated monstera started browning only on the white part. It gets great direct and indirect sun. My window has a tree outside and in the morning it’ll get direct light but in the afternoon the branches and leaves from the tree cover it pretty well. Good ventilation, too. Any idea why the white part started browning?

The white portion cannot photosynthesize and becomes more sensitive to drier air. It’s just needs to run its course and might stop. I removed my monstera from the afternoon sunlight so it doesn’t produce so much of a white leaf portion cause the same thing happened to mine. Right now it’s under a Sansi grow light and loves it.
