Try over seeding and water constantly
Do you have a hose it would help if you watered it maybe once a day would help I had that problem in my backyard, but it’s slowly coming up as I water more and as it rains more it’s slightly under my knees now that’s cause last year. I watered it a bunch and it’s been growing on and on ever since I give it a sprinkle now and then.
you’ll get it eventually just keep watering it. It might be tough at first, but you’ll get it.
