I just potted my basil and it became wilted so fast! Did I over water? Should I use a smaller pot?

Most plants wilt after repotting ! Nothing to worry about it will bounce back

Most plants do looked bad after repotting but when the plant heals it should be fine but too much water every day can be bad for basil unless it 90+ degrees
