Looks like a pest is at it. Check the bottom of the leaves, is there anything there? Tiny spots? Little caterpillars somewhere?

Search what type of bug it is, and depends on the bug how to treat it

Looks like snails or caterpillars might need a magnifier to see. Some pests eat away and then hide in soil make sure to inspect it too.
Damages caused by pests. Better to use insecticide.
