another Easyplant pot issue
Easy to care for plants in self-watering pots that actually look good. That’s appealing! It costs, but i bought in and nitially it was all amazing…until the problems started. I have 8 easyplant plants. Well, 7. One was sacrificed to troubleshoot. I have 2 that have worked as expected; add water and enjoy. As of today I’m up to 4 easyplant pots that either quit watering the plant or give it so much water it becomes problematic. Today I realized the 4th plant, a Sansevieria Cylindrical…a plant that’s is hard to kill….isn’t being properly watered by the pot. The soil has literally contracted around the entire plant and dried into a ball that moves freely in the pot…a pot that still has water in the reservoir. I knew something was up when tips started drying, but was told it needed less light. Today I learned the reality when I saw the soil wasn’t touching the sides of the pot ☹️ I REALLY wanted easyplant to work. Sadly, i don’t think i’ll be buying any more. I can pay less locally and get plants that take more attention, but stay healthy.
