i moved this plant outside in Virginia. It doesn’t look as vibrant as it did inside. I am concerned that it is either not getting enough water, or too much sun. Can you tell

Prolly too much sun, not enough humidity
It could be that the plant is in shock if the change from the indoor to outdoor environment was drastic. Snake plants don’t like chilly weather, so that could be a factor. And if it rains often, that could also be hurting the plant- they don’t like to be watered more than once a month. Best of luck!
That’s a snake plant and they thrive on neglect! They only need water once a month and don’t need that much sun! It looks a little faded to me it’s getting too much sun I would move it back inside
Probsbly the shock of being indoors then out in sun
