Native to eastern Asia, China, Japan, and Korea, this plant is used for ornamental purposes. It typically grows to a height of 9-16 ft (3-5 m) and spreads up to 10 ft (3 m) wide. Its ovate foliage has a smooth green texture with serrated edges. The shrub produces abundant white blooms from May to August. The simple white flowers have 5 petals and 10 stamens with yellow anthers. Apart from its lush appearance, the shrub produces a sweet smell during the blooming season.

How to Care for the Plant
Container
