Indulging my favorite hobby today: buying the most pitiful clearance rack plants to see if I can rehabilitate. These orchid roots were COMPLETELY brown, no blooms, droopy leaves…but after transferring to water, a wee bit of greeen is starting to appear so maybe there’s hope!

My new addition!

I got this plant grower. I put my seeds in some soil sponge, and they sit in water. I put some plant food in the water, and there is a water pump that pumps oxygen through the water for the seedlings. As you can see in the picture row of the seeds are sprouting! I’m liking it

romaine lettuce

I’m growing Romain lettuce for the first time. My plant has grown nicely is about 18 inches tall with leaves about 4 to 5 inches long. When is the proper time to pick the leaves to eat? I was told to go ahead and pick them and they would grow morebut when I did, the lettuce was extremely bitter to taste.

What is wrong with thanksgiving cactus?

I may have repotted her into a large pot with only 1 drainage hole that doesn’t even work. Then I was confused because it says that they don’t like to stay dry for long periods of time, so then why do I have to water her every 13 days? Her buds dry up and fall off and her roots are showing? I’ve tried so many things but am unsure what to do. Repotted: September She sits under a GRO light. Symptoms: area around her roots stay wet, she’s dusty. Not much growth.

I’m wondering if anyone can help me ? I have them in a pot, they flower whenever it’s the right time, but I wish to dig the bulbs up as we’re moving and I would like to put them Into a slightly larger pot so they can spread out and I can give some to my sister ?
