cosa sta succedendo al giardino di casa?
Ho rifatto il giardino con la semina, ed è andato tutto ok, prato verde e ben distribuito. L’ho tagliato dopo circa un mesetto, e dopo circa 4/5 giorni ho notato queste macchine sulla zona più al sole; la zona con più ombra è praticamente apposto. Lo annaffiò tutte le sere, cosa sta succedendo? Non riesco a trovare una risposta…

Daily 5 sec count watering on “shower” more on hot days. I always feel the soil with my fingers first. Micro dose feeding weekly from bucket liquid fertilizer made from water, brown sugar, coffee grounds, cut up banana peels, kitchen scraps, some lawn cuttings. I’ll sit back and observe it now and alter my care based on heat and appearance.

Summer heat + amaryllis
My (previously) waxed amaryllis bulbs. Now de-waxed and…thriving. We had an overly wet spring, but now that the summer is here, I didn’t know how they would cop with the southern heat and humidity. So far it looks like they’re loving it. I can’t believe how large they have become.

Hello new to community. Could someone tell me if my Ficus is in the proper place as the sun come up in the South like now and it’s the hottest there so I try to keep blinds close but try to give it just a bit of light out the corner. Also, I have had this plant 6 years and quite a bit of leaf drop off but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong . I added some Peat moss now I’m thinking I shouldn’t have and then the pot it’s been in there ever since and I thought it may be to big. Please help I want it to come out of this stage I love my Ficus and want it to prosper

Hello, newbie here. Here’s my attempt to return Mimi to her former self. I received this peace lily when my mother passed three years ago and didn’t take care of it like I should have 😔. i finally did it.
When I got this plant from a coworker it had two big and dying leaves. I cut off the first one and mended the second and only remaining leaf. Once I did that and got a good watering routine I got a new leaf which I was so happy. Then another and now I have four new healthy leaves and more coming in on the side I chopped when I first got the plant around April. So the original remaining leaf looked happier but it wasn’t growing or getting any healthier. I figured I would chop the big leaf now that a few of the new ones are large enough to photosynthesis for the plant and hopefully I will get four more new healthy leaves from my other side now. I did keep my cutting just in case!!! I couldn’t just toss it so I dipped it in rooting hormone and set it up in my new propagating set up! Any tips would be appreciated!!!! I’m not sure what the plant is. The app called it a Swiss cheese plant but I’m not sure. Thanks.

Balcony Mini Garden
Hey yall! So my balcony garden is looking healthy but i do have an indoor space with a few succulents and such that are sightly over hydrated so how do i fix that issue? If your plants are over hydrated though, wanter them everyday until they recover!

In my opinion and experience, indoor gardens, especially ones with succulents or air-plants are the easiest type of garden to take care of. With succulents and air-plants, mist them every 1-2 days and if it looks either dry or wet, you can spray more or less water. In the third image, there is a monstera, one of my absolute favourite plants. They are easy to take care of but beautiful for indoor and outdoor gardens. For people looking for decor plants for their home, a monstera should definitely make your space more lively and cozy and add more greenery.

If you have moss in your soil or even some rotting areas, crushed up cinnamon sticks or plain cinnamon powder will help get rid of any unhealthy additions in your plant(s). I have been using this method for years and it’s helped my plants thrive! Just fairly sprinkle it and whatever you do do not water it straight away. Wait at least a couple of days and you will most likely have your moss problem solved. Remember, each plant is different!🌵
