I was away and the plant got really dry. After watering the leaves never spreaded out just started dying

Aww I was reading u can use sugar water look it up I used some on my dying plants and I’m waiting to see if it really works. I got some tips off of here. Praying ur baby get back to good health 🙏🏽😢
