peace lilly help!!
Hi!! I’ve had a peace Lilly for maybe two years now it’s grown lovely. I’ve just repotted it and it’s had the most awful smell to it! I’m assuming that is root rot 🤢🤢 I’ve trimmed all the dark roots and taken off the bad leaves. I hae also put it in a draining pot but I’m unsure where to put the new dry soil. Do i completely cover the pot?

swiss cheese plant care
Hi all! I’ve just brought a Swiss cheese plant for the first time! Any tips on keeping it healthy would be great, please? I’ve trimmed most aerial roots down and brown parts on leaves, repotted, fresh soil and gave a 3/4 of a pint of water! Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated 😀😀 Gem

why did her leaf split like that.
I rotated her a little bit and gave her a water. The tallest leave did bend down, but it seems as if the other leaf started splitting. Can anyone tell me why this possibly happened?

'Looking Glass' Begonia
I’ve had this begonia for two years. She won first place in a floriculture competition at local fair. I love the silver leaves. This one is very easy to grow. Finally took some cuttings (about twenty). Will be donating them for fund raising events.

Hoyas and Swans
Hoyas come in so many different sizes and leaf variations now. Mine like their soil to dry out between waterings. The little ceramic swans are toilet bolt covers I found on Amazon. Received the comfy, fluffy white sitting pillow with a swan appliqué for Christmas.

After letting my sister who knows a lot about plants get a good look at my plant and she sadly diagnosed it with Thrips. So she did plant surgery and on my plant 😔 Let’s hope that the thrips go away and that the plant can re grow again

My hellebores are blooming. They usually just bloom in March or early April but we’ve had such a warm and wet winter so far in western Washington state. Lots of rain the last couple weeks, widespread flooding. Federal state of emergency called. Rescues are in the thousands. One river breached a levee and caused a mass evacuation of three major suburbs of Seattle. Interstate 90 closed in both directions due to a landslide. I’m nearby the floods but not directly affected, thank goodness.

Watering Help Needed
I have over 230 houseplants and water about 30-35 plants a day. It takes me about an hour to do that - between going into each room, refilling my spray bottles, etc. I’ve toyed with the idea of a pump sprayer - either manual or battery-operated. But I don’t know if there is such a thing for smaller indoor situations. I’d like to control the water pressure and trickle the water for a little succulent pot or do a bigger stream of water for my large monstera plant. In my initial internet searchings I’m seeing lots of multi-tip backpack sprayers but I’m not seeing a lot of pressure control offerings. Anybody out there use one of these multi-gallon backpack/pump sprayers for your indoor plants? Any success?

Thanksgiving cactus
This is the first time that I’ve been able to get this eight year old plant to re-bloom. I started the darkness cycle in the first week of November (too late for Thanksgiving but I thought I’d try). It only developed three buds and only two continued to grow. I’ll try to force it to bloom again, possibly in the spring just to see what happens.

i listened to advice

The elephant bush has had roots for a month now. The 🫙 with 💧 has to be replaced by soil and a pot OR planted somewhere. Paintbrush 🖌️ plant in the middle of a 🕷️war! what should i do?
My plant has a leaf that keeps turning more yellow and another is having holes. This plant was watered Saturday I believe. All the water was drained in the process but in the middle it's still wet and cold. The temperature here outside has dropped but the inside of my house isn't cold. So my husband thinks I’m the plant whisperer and can bring anything to life… he brought home this guy after a tree removal job and asked me to save him! I’m going to try my mixture of soap and baking soda to make sure to rid it of any lingering pathogens… then I’m going to start watering with banana water, I hear from a trusted source that they like that! I will keep you all updated on his recovery 🤗

Replaced soil, used drainage (orchid bark and moss) disinfected both pots. Took away rotting root. Used Tropical potting mix +cacti and succulents. Success? ☃️

How often should I water my Parlor palm in winter?

Shriveled but Hanging On
I got this sprout on Mother’s Day and having been caring for it ever since. Sadly, I was out of town for a while for Thanksgiving and I came home to find him shriveled. That was on Sunday and it is now Wednesday. I’ve watered it every day since I got back. It seems to be trying to hang on-it has perked back up and the new growth at the appears to be in decent shape.
