These flower in early June in Ontario. I have a pink variety. Once the flowers are finished I trim back the plant and leave the greenery for the summer and cut it to the ground fall or March. As they regrow from the ground I put a hoop around them and raise with growth. They’re quite flower heavy when they bloom for about 2 weeks. If you cut them as they bloom to bring into the house shake the ants out before you go inside. They smell beautiful in the house.
