Repotting and support
Just repotted it after given to me 2 days ago or so and was overwatered at Home Depot. Was able to get new soil today in hope it helps it drain and heal. I added some support with sticks and yarn which is all I have for now since I'm a beginner and hoping it helps it for the meantime to breath and revive 💕 ( tips accepted if I'm doing anythng wrong or do somthing to help it better. Open to learning)

Will it survive??
My partner brought me this flower from her job & The soil seems to be really wet and moist I'm sure it's overwatered due to them mostly watering them a lot & this Celosia CockComb was dangling over the pot. I removed any dead leaves and flowers off and used sticks to try and help it stand up . I will be repotting it ASAP to put it in healthier soil. Any recommendations?

Did I score my Holly Braille?
I see post of people walking into the local big store (Walmart, Lowe’s, HomeDepot, etc.) and finding Thai constellations. Let alone they find them on sale. But lo and behold I took a last minute stop in Lowe’s after doing some running around to find this lonely beauty just sitting by herself. I go to this Lowe’s every day that I have off after I drop my wife off to work just to look around and get plant therapy. I never see anything like this, but I had to. Did I pay too much for this plant? $29.99

I got this in a plant shop $5 off a corkscrew plant it lives in a bog or wet areas I was fascinated by the leaves how it’s spiral like and how this plant tends to like being in a pot with no drainage with rocks creating humidity which I added old rocks from my fish tank I don’t use anymore with a mix of sand, sphagnum moss, and soil. In the future I might have a small pot filled with water & other bog like plants but for now this will do. I heard they are a bit of a hardy plant so hopefully it would be fine

Part of my cactus has turned black ;(
If anyone knows the cause and how to treat this issue, please let me know — part of this cactus (I believe it’s an Espostoa lanata, though I’m not entirely sure) has turned black. I water it about once a month and keep it in a sunny spot. I noticed that a part of the back had turned black, and it’s been about three months since I found it. It doesn’t seem to have spread since then. Could it be due to overwatering or perhaps excessive dryness? (I live in Texas.) Will it not heal naturally anymore? ;)

Venus fly trap and Pennywort are doing good I noticed the Pennywort has grown bigger last time I have checked and Venus fly trap are soon going dormant for the winter so it’s normal they die off and then grow again after winter ends unsure if I should put it inside the fridge for dormancy or naturally stay outside? Meet the ZZ Ravens Ink, Onyx & Nior
They weren’t exactly thriving together… so I intervened by doing what any ADHD plant parent would do — avoided them entirely —thinking they would magically be healthy again. Let’s just say the recovery process was touch-and-go — Poor Ink’s still missing a few brain cells, but the trio somehow survived my care. Now they’re separate, stronger, and still brooding beautifully.

I actually haven’t made any cuts yet. I was researching and there was something someone said about using non-woody stems only as my cuttings. I watched a lot of videos and they were about bear paws much bigger than mine with a lot of green stems, but mine only has brown stems (and I’m sure it’s not sick). So I’m here to ask if propagation would be possible if I make a cutting from any of those 3 sections. (I would only be making a single cut ideally).

Twistin' and Turnin'
I put this plant outside this summer but had to bring it back in cause the squirrels wouldn’t stop munching on it. I was shocked that they would eat a cactus. Hope the squirrels were uncomfortable for a while after eating the spines (which are very soft but still let you know they are there). It’s been recovering and even has some new growth.
