Genuinely asking……did you pinch all the leaves off?
It looks like the roots were too saturated and started to rot? It also doesn’t appear to be properly potted. Prune the dead/weak pieces off, plant it in a clay pot with nutrient rich soil., full sunlight. It should come back
Add more soil
