Monstera problems
Should I chop this thing down and start over? Why are the leaves so small

The plant appears healthy.

No stake it and put it in a larger pot . Monsteras needs root space to grow . But if you want to propagate I guess you can cut it up

He’s not getting enough light and that’s causing the “leggy” growth. Buy him a Sansi light. He’ll love it. Do not increase pot size. Actually give the pot inside the blue pot “a lift up” so more air is circulating all around him. Gently attach him to your trellis with soft Velcro tape for plants. I would hold off on propagation until you see how he responds and looks after he’s had some time under the light. I have the four prong Sansi light for my monstera and others I can cram below it.
