Does anyone know how I can make it happier in the water,my parents aren’t letting me put it in soil

Change the water weekly and add a drop of hydrogen peroxide to the water. Don’t forget to feed her!
Put it in a tall clear glass by the window
Ask your parents if they have a glass bud vase or something glass that is smaller than what you have it in now. Or ask for a propagation station. Lots of choices on Amazon. If your water gets cloudy, it’s time to change it. I don’t think you need peroxide or plant food with this photos cutting. Keep it near a sunny window. Wishing you success.
If you're willing to put in the effort, remove the chlorine and other chemicals, and soften the water. You can use chemicals meant to do the exact same thing but for fishtanks. My go to is PRIME by SEAChem. I use it everytime I get water from the tap, honestly if you have fishtanks, I would just take tank water and dilute it with PRIME water and use that.
