Health Diagnosis with self-watering planter
When it tries to diagnosis plant health, it asks how often you water the plant. What is the best answer for a self watering planter (one that you only fill up the reserve tank every month or so when it runs out of water, and it takes what it needs)?

For self watering pots, check if liquid is in the reservoir and when empty or low, give it a decent watering. Self watering basically means there is a “thread” that stays damp and keeps the soils damp without “soaking” the soil. Therefore, just need to ensure there is water in the reservoir. It doesn’t hurt to let your plant go dry for a couple of days. Use rain water when available.
Thank you. However, do you know what answer the app’s diagnosis tool is looking for? It seems to want an answer of how often you are watering it so it knows if it’s too much or too little, and the answers are in days/weeks/month - but there is no choice for self-watering or thread or other - I’m guessing it will misdiagnose regardless of which answer I choose since none of the choices describe what’s actually happening.
