why is my celosia wilting? how do i save plant?
I planted celosia two days ago in containers with petunias. I have watered once a day with 2 gallons per container. I live in Texas and they are getting full sun most of the day. My celosias have already started wilting. The petunias seem fine. Please help. I would like to try and save plants if I can

- **Condition Name**: Wilting - **Symptoms**: The central part of the plant appears limp and wilted compared to the healthier parts which are upright and blooming. - **Cause**: Possible causes include underwatering, root rot, or heat stress. - **Treatment/Solution**: Ensure the plant is adequately watered but not oversaturated. Check for root rot by examining the roots. Move the plant to a shaded area if exposed to excessive sunlight or heat.
It’s hard to see the pot in these pictures but from the top it looks like it’s kind of crowded in there. It could also be transplant shock, if so it should perk up in a week or so. Two gallons of water a day seems a little excessive even considering how hot it might be there. If it’s very hot you might want to water in the morning and again in the evening.
