How long do you do the bottom-up watering?
Diagnosed one of my home plants and it says underwatering is the cause of the leaf ends to brown. How long does it take to do the bottom-up watering to make sure it gets all the water that it needs since I don’t want to overwater also? Thank you!

The plant in the image appears to be a species of Dracaena fragrans, which is a tropical plant that can grow indoors. The leaves of the plant appear wilted and some of them have turned brown, indicating that the plant may be suffering from water stress or other environmental issues. Here are some tips on how to fix this issue: 1. Watering: Make sure to water the plant thoroughly, being careful not to overwater. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. 2. Lighting: Dracaena fragrans thrives in bright indirect light, so make sure the plant is receiving the right amount of light. 3. Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant with a balanced fertilizer once a month during the growing season. 4. Pest control: Check the plant for pests like spider mites, mealybugs, or scale. If any are found, treat the plant with insecticides or neem oil. 5. Repotting: If the plant has outgrown its current pot, repot it in a larger one with fresh soil. Make sure the new pot has drainage holes. 6. Pruning: Remove any dead or damaged leaves and stems to promote new growth and prevent the spread of diseases. 7. Temperature: Dracaena fragrans prefers
It really shouldn’t take more than a few hours, but I typically do two or three days. Unless they show sign of other issues if you have drainage holes, I just water mine thoroughly and let the water drain out the bottom ”outside of course”
I let mine sit in water for a few hours. They seem to pull up the amount of water they need in that time. Of course it’s different if you have a plant that has completely dried out. Then I would do a couple days and then water from the top to complete the process.
Thank you @ohGollyitsJolly and @CAJames !
